[ Extraction complete. ]

[ Relaying information to Host 1.  . . ]

[ Host 1, the task given is classified as level C. This world revolves around the thin division of werewolves and humans – with many humans ignorant to the existence of werewolves.

Werewolves dedicate themselves to a pack which is governed by an Alpha and Luna, while being assisted by a Beta and Gamma. The rest are categorized as caretakers or hunters.

You were given the task of gaining the trust of one Kyle Tucker, the beloved son of the world, and surviving until you have found your mate – a werewolf’s version of a significant other. Side tasks are yet to appear. Host 1 will be immediately notified of new tasks or side tasks.

Your role is his adopted older brother, Terrance Quinn. Your parents’ were killed in a rogue invasion. At the time Host 1 has transferred, Terrance has yet to make a mark on the world. Thus OOC actions will not be punished.

Please refrain from acting too strange or unusual.

You are approximately 16 years old right now – it has not been long since your parents have died – and Kyle is 12. This is the best time to create a superficial bond with the target as he is still young and malleable.

System 998 wishes Host 1 well. ]

Fu Wencheng took a look at his small hands, “Interesting.”

Wencheng, now known as Terrance, was in the middle of a clearing surrounded by a dense foliage of spruce trees.

A brown haired little boy walked over. He was extremely adorable with his blushed cheeks and serious pout, “Ter, Mom told me to tell you that it’s time to eat.”

The little boy had milky white flesh and grey, doe-like eyes. He was a full head shorter than Terrance, but he radiated a mature charm. His eyebrows knitted together as Terrance didn’t reply or make a move to head inside.

The boy cocked his head to the side, questioningly, “Hello? Ter?”

“Yes, Kyle. I’ll head in just a moment.” Terrance grimaced as Kyle left, a sweat bead forming.

Kyle nodded in confirmation and left back into the two-story house. With Kyle’s back turned, Terrance eased the tensed muscles in his body. Onyx eyes burned with a surge of anger and exuded an alarm of danger.

“How scary… The blood of Alphas are extremely strong… I almost couldn’t stop myself from kneeling and baring my neck to a little mutt…” Terrance whispered to himself.

Terrance walked towards the patio of the cream colored house. A door was held ajar by a folding chair. Terrance stepped into the house and was greeted by the sight of pile upon piles of food on a rectangular table set for five. Terrance sat in an empty chair beside Kyle and a weary eyed woman.

A deafening grumble roared followed by a sequence of other grumbles.

A blonde haired man cleared his throat, “Well, now that everyone is here. We can eat. Dig in, kids.”

Terrance began identifying his new family, ‘That must be the Alpha and the father of Kyle. While the woman must be his mate, the Luna, and the little girl must be some sort of sibling of Kyle.’

With a flurry of movements the table became a war zone. Terrance squinted his eyes in complete disgust as Kyle choked down three sausages and a syrupy pancake. Terrance made no moves to grab any of the dishes as his appetite disappeared and he just gazed in slight curiosity as the food slowly vanished from existence.

He turned his head to see the weary eyed brunette picking at her food, taking little bites here and there. It seemed like she had no appetite either unlike the three savages at the table.

Her dull gaze never left her plate.

Terrance was amazed at the woman’s eyes. They were light in color, but fully coated with her emotions – self-loathing, fear and complete and utter defeat.

‘Interesting.’

The blonde haired man seemed to notice that Terrance was looking at his mate and growled, “Terrance. Ziva. Why aren’t you guys eating?”

The brunette began trembling, goose-bumps forming, “N-no. I… I am eating.”

She turned to Terrance pleading for something.

‘Relief? Affirmation? But then, why look at me for it?’

Terrance.

Terrance’s body shuttered. He wasn’t afraid, but his body couldn’t stop itself from an Alpha’s commanding aura. Terrance’s small body dropped to the floor under the Alpha’s gaze and curled up into a fetal position, bearing his neck in submission.

Cherry red lips couldn’t open themselves to respond and phoenix eyes raged with hellfire.

Soon footsteps were heard leaving the room and the pressure in the room was cut by half.

Terrance struggled to stand as a smirk made its way to his pale face full of sweat, before he promptly fell once again – blacking out.

When Terrance opened his eyes, it was to a dark bedroom dimly lit up by the light of the crescent moon. Terrance propped himself up from, what he assumed, his bed. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a shadowy figure making a run for the woods through his window.

The shadowy figure turned back and Terrance met the scared gaze of the brunette woman from earlier. Her figure soon melted under the cover of the trees and darkness.

Onyx eyes flickered with interest for a single moment as three shadowy figures of large wolves chased after her. What followed next was the screeching of a banshee begging for mercy and help along with the howling of an angered Alpha.

The howl instilled fear into all that heard it.

Terrance began shaking again as he struggled in the battle of a submissive body and independent mind. His vision began darkening as he fell into the sweet caress of sleep once more.

His last thought was whispered, “At least I don’t have to worry about getting enough sleep.”

Thus ended the first day in Fu Wencheng’s first world.
